Small button icon to put in the Flock Toolbar (the social networks/e-mail/RSS/media/everything else bar in Flock). It should look like the default icon for "Open People Sidebar" except with three people instead of one. If you guys could make this work, I would *love* Me.dium more than anything else! It's just too intrusive with its big icon next to my address bar.
Can I talk to people I dont know. 80 yr olds and younger people. No friends. I am married with a disabled wife (same age, married 57 yrs)
Dont know chat jargon, so mostly English. Used to be a teleprinter operator in the RAF, sometime on radio teleprinters from Delhi to Chicksands in Bedfordshire I believe
How do I cancel my account? I know how to uninstall from Firefox, but I want to know how to completely close my account. Since I have to join getsatisfaction to ask my question, I would also like to know how to cancel this account after my question is answered.
Dammit, I want to be able to sign in by entering my user name and password and I do *not* want to be shunted off to "crossover" (which apparently means endlessly chasing my own tail around a loop) every time my cursor approaches the sign-in button. I am so sick and tired at this insanity that I am about to swear off me.dium for ever.
The facebook option is nice, but it is slightly clunky. I'm not sure how much interactivity you can get with facebook, but it would be incredible if you could see your online facebook friends and use medium to chat with them. Or your Skype or AIM friends for that matter.
Or perhaps an option to write on their wall instead of just sending messages.
I cannot "middle click" in the sidebar. This is a problem because it means the only way to open a new link via Me.dium is to left click, and it will open in my current tab.
I would like to either be able to middle click, or tell Me.dium to open all links in a new tab (or new window, as I have Firefox set to open new windows as new tabs)
Even when I browse to large sites like slashdot or myspace, there are no other users showing up on my map. Am I doing something wrong? The entire reason I installed me.dium was so I could find/chat with other users browsing the same sites as me.
Would there be way to lock onto friend so that when they switch pages so does yours. I think it would be really cool to surf the web this way. I would think it would not be too difficult for it to constantly refresh to what page your friend is on.
I would be even better, but understandable much more difficult to do if at all possible, if your browser mimicked your friends browser 100 percent. This way you would see exactly what they see.
I can't seem to install the firefox 3 add-on in Ubuntu. Everything pretends that it installs correctly, and upon restart, it even tells that a new add-on was installed, but Me-dium does not show up in the list of add-ons.
