Inappropriate?I have the same problem and tried to uninstall and reinstall it doesn't helped.

Inappropriate?same thing with Firefox 2.0.0.9. Sidebar is loading... nothing more, nothing to do.
Do I maybe have to open/forwarding a specific port, because I'm behind a router? -
Inappropriate?Hello,
I am sorry to hear you are having these problems. We are definitely working on a couple of issues here internally around what you are seeing. In the meantime try the following things:
1. Make sure that it’s not just you – verify that you’ve still got an internet connection.
2. Make sure that it’s not an intermittent error – restart your browser.
3. Email support@me.dium.com with the details of what you’re seeing – e.g. black sidebar, no map movement, etc.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?1. Maybe it's just me, but Internet is ok.
2. I'm sure.
3. I will do that.
Thx -
Inappropriate?Hello,
Finally I figured out that it was a sound problem.
To all Linux users who has same problems: you need the esd (esound) library installed (under Windows it will be quicktime, I think).
Maybe the developer team can in the next version surround this part of code (sidebar.js, line 30 & 517) with a try/catch-block to help the extension running without sound. -
Inappropriate?Thank you for reply. The problem you are having is a little different then what users above are reporting. You are seeing the problem on Bon Echo which is the development version of Firefox. We support the standard GA releases as that's what most users run.
Thanks for sharing your information. -
Inappropriate?I have registered the problem under flock (look my first message) and then tested with firefox.
Flock you support, I guess.?
A linux-user will have this problem with all gecko-based browser in all versions, if there is no esd installed.
Thanks for your patience ;)
