Why can't I post directly on the "talk" page since the recent upgrade?
I've been sick and haven't been on for a week so I just reinstalled medium. I'm a bit lost by all the changes.
Do you have a "latest changes" post somewhere? It would be helpful.

Inappropriate?PS satisfaction.com reeks of excess functionality. Is there a place to post technical questions/suggestions on the me.dium site?
Wayne -
Inappropriate? We have a little tutorial posted at http://www.me.dium.com/tutorial if you haven't checked that out yet. You can also add me as a friend, sara1012, and ping me when you are line and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Lastly, thanks for your feedback about satisfaction.com, it currently is the only place to post questions and suggestions right now outside of sending an email to support@me.dium.com -
Inappropriate?I watched the tutorial and it's quite good. Not very complete, however, and it doesn't address my question.
Under the main "talk" tab (with the Medium bubbles) the post dialogue box is gon and you have to click "share web page" to make it appear. However there are other reasons to want to open a thread other than sharing a web page. I am afraid this will discourage people form posting and don't think its a good idea.
Just my 2 cents.

Inappropriate? Thanks for your 2 cents Wayne. We always appreciate hearing from users and getting their feedback.
The functionality basically works the same where you can still open a thread and share comments/suggestions like you used to without specifically sharing the website. It is all now under the "share a web page" as the website you are currently on also displays in the thread similarly to what it did previously.
I will make sure your comments are heard internally with our engineering team.
