first of all I'd like to say your service has helped me a lot and this
is the reason why I would like it to improve and make me think less
while using it.
I find it great how you guys responded to my tweet.
The thing that bothers me the most (and has bothered me since I've first used the service - even with the old design) is that it just doesn't work the way I expect it to.
I have issues such as:
1. How do I leave a group? Can't find it.
2. I want to change my picture for all events at the same time. Now it seems I can only do it one by one.
E.g.: I'm looking at a group that has been renamed to "Group disbanding - please leave this group" - but I just can't find where.
I would further suggest a better distinction between what is actually a group profile and a general Meetup.com profile.
Usually, whenever I am directed to meetup.com via one of the event invitation e-mails, my experience seems to be fine, but if I would like to do something more than just RSVP (btw, I hate it how this French phrase has suddenly become a verb :-), I often get stuck.
Anyway, I'm out of time :).

Glad to hear that Meetup plays a positive role in your life! I checked on a few of the issues you brought up:
Leaving a group
We centralize all membership information and functions like this in the account section. We definitely don't want the process of leaving a group to be too slippery and simple (in case of user error), and there are somewhat negative connotations to putting 'Leave this Group' links on every single group profile page. So, all of these options are centralized.
To leave a group go to "account" and click on "membership and communications" from the left-nav. You'll see the option to leave the group beneath the group name.

I hope that I'm understanding your question correctly - but I assume you're talking about your profile picture? You can only change the photo across all groups if you haven't gone into a specific group and changed it. If you have already enabled a specific photos on different group profiles, we won't globally change all of them for you. I hope that makes sense. I played around with it and definitely realize that it's confusing and will bring that up.
