Hey Team Mento. My "private" links still post out (via the RSS?) to my Tumblr. Is there any way to stop that? (The updates are all lookin' fab, by the way!)
I can see when someone from my network clicks on my links but I cannot see when someone else clicks on them. Before the update it was possible to see who clicked. Did that change or can I still see that information somewhere else?
Please consider building link management views and tools. Like:
ability to add a tag and/or a channel to a group of links already sharing a tag (say, add all links tagged abc to channel 123)
Consider a simple view of links in order to make this easier, u know, like delicious. I love the graphical tumblr-like features of Mento, but to manage many links I presume it is too unwieldy.
Looking fwd to when y'all roll out video embed features like tumblr, too, for vids and slideshare type media.
I've added Ma.nolia account to my services, and first two or three links were synchronized. But all links saved by me next day were published only on Tumblr and del.icio.us.
I considered resetting Application Key on ma.gnolia.com (don't really know for what reason =) — I haven't asked for it adding this service to Mento) and reconnecting Mento with Ma.gnolia, but there were no results. In my settings Mento is telling me that last link "published less than a minute ago", but I can't see it on Ma.gnolia =(
someone who adds me his network (but not in MY network) sending unwanted links directly to me (i guess the person may just don't understand "save" and "send" differences). so prefer user blocking option - or at lest prefer to uncheck "Links sent to you directly" on my mento mix.
Even though I have my tumblr account set to only share public posts it also seems to be sending my private ones to tumblr as well. BTW these were screenshots. I don't know if it's happening with regular links.
Let's say that I give a plus to John. If John cancels his account, what happens with my plus? Just go away?
Even if Mento doesn't have a "cancel option", may you'll implement this, and then we'll have a situation.
I'm asking this because I just give a plus to an user, I don't link the website (I'm guessing that the "plus feature" has this purpose). But I don't want to lose my pluses if that user cancels his account.
When I send a link to a channel, I can see the tag #htpc when I'm looking at 'Your Links'. When I click on 'Channels' and choose #htpc it says I have no links under this channel.
An integration with Twitter would be great. Maybe an option when you save a link or when you send one. It would save me a couple steps for sending that link to my Twitter contacts.
