adding pictures "breaks" del.icio.us integration
Now I encountered a really annoying problem several times.
First, at the moment I'm still only playing around with Mento and my main application to store and share links is still del.icio.us. Well, You have this del.icio.us integration which makes my test possible and it works quite fine - but as soon as You're adding a picture to a link the link will be shared to del.icio.us without comment and tags -. so I always have to copy & paste this information from Mento to del.icio.us manually ... (and adding pictures is of course one advantage over del.icio.us - but that should't break the integration thing!) - I'm not sure, but I suggest that this is reproducable and I'm not the only one who wants You to fix this.

Inappropriate?That's certainly not the intended behavior; I'm very sorry about the data loss and inconvenience. I'm taking a look at this right now and will update you once a fix is published.

Inappropriate?Sadly, I can't reproduce the problem. I checked recent links that were published to my delicious account -- they all had custom tags and comments, including those that have images or custom screenshots.
In the future, can you point me to an example that had this problem? That would greatly help in tracking down the problem.
Please note also that links get exported to delicious within 20 minutes of being saved to Mento. If you make changes to your links later, those updates currently don't get synchronized. -
Inappropriate?It's not that I change them later. I suggest that the link is saved to Mento in some way when You add a picture - and sometimes Mento synchronizes this link to del.icio.us before the comment and the tags are saved.
Yesterday as far as I remember I had this problem with my Radiohead link (http://code.google.com/creative/radio...) - I monitored Mento's behaviour regarding this problem and found that it does not happen all the time, but sometimes.
I will make a screenshot when the problem occurs again. -

You see that where there is some text and an image on Mento there isn't anything besides the "via:mento.info" tag on del.icio.us.

I just reported at http://getsatisfaction.com/mento/topi... that the del.icio.us export is not qorking right now. This may be connected to the del.icio.us update which will come soon according to their blog.
Anyway, the latest bookmark which was exported to my del.icio.us account on Sunday ("Soziale Marktwirtschaft") is completely broken - not even the correct title ("Soziale Marktwirtschaft (LeMo - Lebendiges virtuelles Museum Online)") which I changed before I typed in my comment and my tags when I saved the bookmark was exported to del.icio.us ... there seems still some routine not be working properly ...

Inappropriate?While preparing a major update of the Mento site, a bug slipped into the export service and produced the annoying problem you encountered. That update wasn't meant to go live just yet, but at least I can say that exports have now resumed.
The wires are running hot right now pushing out all the updates of the past two days. Links should show up on FriendFeed, delicious, Tumblr & co. witihn the next minutes.
We're very sorry about the inconvenience. Just when we thought all was green, the export service failed once more. Hopefully, the upcoming update can impress you though :) -
