No image adding after saving a link using Firefox addin.
When using the Firefox plugin and saving links, I can't add an image after saving the link. When I click save it take me to the panel where I can add a comment or a picture, but the picture never gets saved to the link.

Inappropriate?Hi Kodewulf,
the probably easiest way of selecting the image you'd like to save with your link is by right-clicking it and selecting "Save & Share this Image with Mento." If you're on a Mac where it's not so convenient to right-click, have you tried the "add image" link in the Mento box? Let me know if you can get to that point. Is the screenshot tool working for you?
Thanks for your patience!
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Hi,
It's not images I want to share, I just want to grab an image from the webpage to help identify the site, like the logo or something. If I remove the tick to make the addin start on the SAVE panel, and it starts with the default panel where you can add a comment or add an image, then it works fine. When I make it start with the SAVE panel and add tags and click the save button, it goes back to the default panel where I can add comments or images. Clicking the "add image" link doesn't allow me to select an image to add to the link. -
Inappropriate?Ah, get it! I'll "investigate" that problem and hopefully fix this for you soon.
Maybe the wording of my previous suggestion was misleading: when you right-click an image on the webpage and select "Share this Image...", it still shares the page as a regular link and just attaches the selected image. So in the end, it's the same outcome as selecting an image afterwards. And with the right-click option, you can still jump straight to the "SAVE" tab and the image will be added on your first save; no need to re-select it on the confirmation screen. Let me know if that makes sense -- I think it's the easiest (current) solution to this issue.

Inappropriate?Thank you. I'll check that out. I've noticed that the buttons for IE7 doesn't have the option to "Share this image...". Am I missing something, or is that coming later?
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? In IE7, the right-click context menu has the same effect when you click an image ... we merely can't change the label dynamically. Let me know if it doesn't work for you there.

Inappropriate?I have this problem also. I am using the Firefox extension. The workaround is fine, but if you want to add an image as an afterthought, you have to start over from the beginning, which is only a minor inconvenience in the scheme of things but enough to prevent me from posting some images I might otherwise add.
I’m chiming in unhelpfully

Inappropriate?@nbr, your chiming is always welcome, since it makes things get more weight. we'd like to overhaul the image selection UI anyhow, so this was really valuable feedback.
I’m thankful for the chimes
