Reply-to set to our company's email
Set reply-to for all emails being sent out to clients as a predefined email either in the invoice/estimate or as a default in the settings. Tons of clients reply to the no-reply and think I get the response. Either that, or also let clients reply to emails and the comment above the line be put as a comment on the estimate/invoice.

Hey James,
The "reply above this line to comment"-type feature is planned for the next version of Ballpark, which we're planning to launch in about two months if things keep going well.

In the meantime would it be possible to make the reply-to for all emails being sen to clients as a company email or something?

Unfortunately, no. We're focusing on getting the new version out the out the door, so development on the current version is essentially frozen apart from bug fixes.

Sounds good! Excited to see how it turns out - thanks for the update! :-)

At the very least, in the interim is it possible to have replies sent to the no-reply email bounce back to the sender - I think I have lost quite a few responses due to no feedback to the sender.

So this was going to happen in 2 months... 3 months ago. In the meantime, I have clients who think they emailed me, but their email went into the ether.
Is there an ETA on this, or can you add the reply-to line to the email header so at least replies go to the account owner?
Or at least bounce back so they don't think it went through (as Sean mentioned). -

Hi Nick,
I'm sorry you're frustrated. Two months was a guess, but we are in fact very close to launching a completely rewritten version of Ballpark that is much faster and more stable.
Reply to comment will not be launched at that time, but I'll see if we can add a reply-to attribute to notifications going to clients. (Just to be clear, that change would happen in and take effect when the new version launches).

Great, glad to hear the new version is almost ready and there's a possibility that a 'good enough for now' fix could make it in there.

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that the reply-to attribute is now set for email notifications sent to clients (as part of the new version of Ballpark launched on Monday). As long as you have an email address saved for your company (check under My Company in Settings), Ballpark will use that for the reply-to attribute. That should solve this issue until we're able to finish up reply-to-comment.
Thanks,
Jake -
