Any way you guys could get a little faster server?
Okay, I'm picky but the server seems to be slowing under the load this evening. Several seconds to load a simple page. If ya want a recommendation on a server with tons of horsepower and bandwidth, I've got I know of one...

We've been monitoring the servers for a bit now and it looks like it's MUCH BETTER since the updates last week.
There's still some more work to do, but the speed issue appears solved. :-)

It's not as fast as I want it to be yet, but it should be a lot better now than it's been in recent weeks. :-)
(The xrl.us URLs are loading pretty fast now at least).
Update: Did a few more tweaks -- it should be a lot better on both xrl.us and metamark.net now)

Absolutely! We actually have a new vastly faster server that we're going to move the service over to (or more accurately - that will go "in rotation" too to spread the load and provide availability if one of the boxes is out for some reason).
We have a bunch of memory to add to the new box; when that's done it'll go "in production".
