I have used Office '04 on the Mac for years. I picked up Office '08 this week and have had nothing but problems. Once installed, its telling me that there is a problem with my Entrourage database and won't allow me to rebuild as the assistant continues to crash and/or fail. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how have you solved it?
On one of our Macs, using Entourage 2008, when I try to invite someone to a calendar entry, it brings up the "select email / recipient," but when I select the person it does NOT send the invite (but the person is tied to the cal entry). On one of our Macs with Ent 2008 it works fine (the button changes from Invite to Send now. On our other Mac, the button just keeps saying "Invite". Any ideas?
I would love to have a preview pane in the tasks/to do lists and notes like Outlook has.
It's really annoying to have to double click to open a task/todo/note to see details.
A side effect of having to open a task to see your details is that if the task is in the past you get a popup that asks you to confirm that you want to save this "Are you sure you want to save the due date for this task? You entered a due date that is in the past"
Additionally, if you put a web address in the notes/details area it does not translate to a clickable link.
