All the Office programs take an absurdly long time to load.
I have quite a few fonts loaded into Font Book. Some would say too many.
All my other programs have no problem with all these fonts, but for some reason, the Office 08 apps choke when it gets to the font optimization part.
Is there still a way to turn off the WYSIWYG font menu?
I added all these fonts from my old computer after installing Office 08 so it's pretty clear that typefaces are where the problem is.

I’m using programs that aren't bloated to do everything. But I'd still rather use Office.

Inappropriate?Wait, people still use MS Office? My company switched to OpenOffice and we've found that it works much better.
