Can I add a percentage to multiple cells in excel?
I'm trying to add an amount(75.00) to say, 60 different numbers, each number in an individual cell in an excel sheet. Isn't there a better way of doing it other than manually adding and typing it in?

Inappropriate?Get all 60 numbers in one column, for example A1, B1, C1, etc. Select the column next to the first cell - A2. Type the formula "=A1+75" in that cell. Now grab the lower-right corner of the A2 cell (the cursor should form a small plus sign) and drag down all 60 cells. All the cells in that second column should fill up with appropriate formulae to add 75 to the adjacent cell.

Inappropriate?
In case it's not terribly clear in the video, I clicked on the cell I wanted to edit, typed "=", clicked the cell I wanted to add to, and typed "75" and hit enter. Then I dragged the corner down as explained previously to copy the formula to other columns. It automatically changes B1 to C1, D1, E1, etc...

Thanks! That's what I was looking for; I did have to type +75 to get it to work(couldn't see it on the screen:-). Glad to know how!
