Can't sign it to Windows Live
I have an older, primary MSN Messenger ID (achaia at mac.com) which was linked to a newer, secondary Windows Live ID (wcharles at me.com). Then I updated my primary ID from "achaia at mac.com" to "shanghaidaddy at me.com" since the old email address is no longer valid. I did all this via Windows Live website http://home.live.com.
It worked for a few days, but I had trouble signing in to Windows Live Messenger service or Windows Live website since yesterday. The error message said "The e-mail address or password is incorrect. Please try again."
Then I tried resetting the password by clicking Forgot your password? link for both "shanghaidaddy at me.com" ID and "wcharles at me.com ID. "shanghaidaddy at me.com" ID was not recognized by the service, it said "The Windows Live ID is incorrect. Please try again"; I successfully reset the password for "wcharles at me.com" ID, but when I tried to sign-in with the new password. The same error message "The e-mail address or password is incorrect. Please try again." came out.
Can someone please help me figure out what's wrong and how to deal with this delicate issue?

Inappropriate?I posed the question a few days ago to the Live support team via email and received response albeit no satisfactory solution was suggested.
However, for some reason, access to my Windows Live account was restored for both via home.live.com or Adium.
