cant view photosynth, please do help!

am using windows xp sp3, ie7, it also wont work on opera and firefox; i have all the updates installed. i kept on reformatting and reinstalling windows that the call center responsible for reactivating my windows i think is annoyed by my constant calling. this is really frustrating me.

Inappropriate?What was the result of following my advice on that other bug? Specifically, check the settings on any network device you have (wireless access point, router, etc) - if your computer is a laptop you could plug it directly into the outbound network cable to skip any such device, that would at least tell you if it was your device that was the problem. If it doesn't seem like a problem with your device, then you'll probably have to work with your ISP to track this down. It really looks like a problem on the network/internet somewhere, and not on your machine.

Inappropriate?my internet is connected through a modem - not wireless/ router.
last night after i updated windows, then i installed java, it was fine. i can access photosynth.net, and tv.com using ie7. but this morning, i cannot. i do think that it is with my pc and windows. because in my last windows installation, same thing happened. and i am puzzled whether it is java, directx or some plugin that ie7 uses.
this is the only reason why i keep on reformatting and reinstalling windows xp on my pc. and i know it is also annoying for the microsoft call center that i keep on bugging them to reactivate my windows.
in my sony vaio laptop, i can access photosynth and tv.com with no problem.

i do think that it is with windows xp. and i have a feeling that many users are stuck with the same problem. it's not with my isp, bec i can access photosynth and tv.com without any problem using my sony laptop using the same isp/ internet connection. i just like to know what the problem is.

Inappropriate?The diagnostic information I've seen so far indicates a problem on the network. If you come up with some more diagnostic information (error codes, traces, logs, etc) that indicate the problem is local to your machine, let us know and we'll pursue those leads.
