Excel 2008 complains about missing xla (plugin) file on startup
My Excel 2008 complains about a missing XLA file every single time it starts, and I can't convince it to forget about the file. The file was a plugin that didn't actually work thanks to the lack of macro support in office 2008 (seriously, wtf?). I can't find an entry in a recent items list or the macros or add-ins forms. How do I fix this?

Inappropriate?Go into tools in Excel and scroll down to Add-Ins. It should give you a menu with the offending add-in in it. Click on it and it should ask to delete it. Click on delete and you are done.
