How do I add an amount to multiple cells in my spreadsheet?
Jane asked "Here's an Excel question....I'm trying to add an amount(75.00) to say, 60 different numbers, each number in an individual cell in an excel sheet. Isn't there a better way of doing it other than manually adding and typing it in?"

Thanks to Bruce and Chris both! the video clip helped to simplify it:-) -
Inappropriate?Jane,
type the number you want to multiply all the other numbers by in one cell. copy that number, select all the cells you want to multiply then choose paste/paste special and click the multiply box and then enter.
there are other ways to do this, as usual, but this should work

Inappropriate? Now I'm curious to hear Jane, did this help you out?

I couldn't use the tip about multiplying, but the clip below helped me out and answers the question. -
Inappropriate?
In case it's not terribly clear in the video, I clicked on the cell I wanted to edit, typed "=", clicked the cell I wanted to add to, and typed "75" and hit enter. Then I dragged the corner down as explained previously to copy the formula to other columns. It automatically changes B1 to C1, D1, E1, etc...
I’m happy
