Multiple, duplicate emails
Why do I get multiple copies of every single email that comes to my Inbox? I have a few accounts set up, but it just seems extremely crazy how many copies I get of each email. Is there anyplace I can research how to properly set up multiple accounts to avoid this annoying and time-consuming issue?

i think this helped a LOT ...
I’m a lot better off now ... wish I got some assistance right from Microsoft, but I think I know better ;]

Inappropriate? You posted late on a Friday night (well, maybe not where you are, but certainly where me and the rest of the Entourage team are). Let us enjoy a night off too! :)
So are you still seeing this problem? -
Inappropriate?Well, I think I fixed it using the information from that post I linked to above ... I am getting much less email ... no copies ... which makes my life SO much nicer now ... such a HUGE difference.
thanks for checking in though ...
hey, Nadyne ... here's another question or 2 for you ...
The UX department at Monster all started using Entourage last year ... and maybe I'm not completely used to it or something, but ...
1. How do you set an 'out of office' message up? Auto-response, whatever you call it ... I can't figure it out and typically have to go out to the company's webmail to turn this on and off when needed
2. Is there a way to invite someone to a previously sent meeting invitation without blasting all the other invitees? That's another strange inefficiency that just doesn't seem to make sense and ends up creating a huge eMess aftermath of sorts
well, thanks again for getting back to me ... have a fantastic weekend ... talk to you soon
Lou
I’m excited to have found a solution to the duplicate email issue, but would love to fix some other strangeness in Entourage

Inappropriate? It depends on what server you're using, and what version of Entourage you're using.
If you're using Exchange 2007 and Entourage 2008 (or the beta of Entourage for Exchange Web Services), then yes, you can set an out-of-office message. Go to the Tools menu, then "Out of Office", and it's all there. If you're using Entourage 2004 or earlier, or an earlier version of Exchange (or not using Exchange at all), then you won't be able to set your out-of-office message. In that case, you can work around it by setting up a rule to automatically reply to any incoming message. Since this is happening in Entourage, whereas the out-of-office setting is on the server, you must leave Entourage running for it to work.
To add someone to a meeting invite (assuming that you're on Exchange), all you need to do is open up the invite and add them to it. When you close the invite, you'll get prompted to send the invite just to the added person or to everyone. Hit "okay" to send to the new person, hit "cancel" to send to everyone. I think this is the case in both Entourage 2004 and Entourage 2008, and I think it doesn't matter which version of Exchange you're using, but I'd have to check that to make sure.
If you're not using Exchange, then tell me what server you're using and I'll track down the right answer.
