Office programs stop responding during start up on a mac
When I try to open Office 2008 on my Mac, every one of the programs stops responding during start up and i have to force quit. How can I fix this?

Does Office stop responding regardless of how long you wait? I ask this because I notice that another poster last year reported excessively long startup times caused by the large number of fonts he had installed.
If not, the problem can still be font-related, such as a corrupt font cache, FontDoctor may be useful in clearing up such issues. (I've never tried this - just passing on information).

Inappropriate?Thanks John. It does just take awhile for it to launch but it will after a couple of minutes. I don't think it likes Suitcase.
