Outlook 2007 has no Word 2003 preview support!
It's quite disappointing and does not help MS's already tarnished image that they have not developed Word 2003 and Excel 2003 previewers for their own preview support in Outlook 2007 emails. I still have to open the document with Word 2003 every time I get an email attachment.
This is a major part of the reason I have started asking my colleagues to send me attachments in any other format but MS Office. I also know this won't get far as a complaint but in case someone else feels they want to highlight the problem, here it is.
It also does not help the case much to see Mac OSX natively support viewing all versions (at least 03 and 07) Word and Excel documents without having to open them in both Mail and the OS.
Also note that I only want to use Outlook 2007 from the 2007 Office suite and the rest of the Office apps are not an option.

Inappropriate?Novell's Groupwise supports Previewers for both new and older versions of MS Office... and its a better email client to boot!

Inappropriate?yes MS is a big joke that has unfortunately been foisted upon us. now that Mac OSX Snow Leopard is supporting Exchange natively we wont have to mess with outlook/entourage any more. long die MS.
