Pre-order delays are unacceptable

I pre-ordered a copy of Windows 7 using the Microsoft Store site on 7/30/2009. The product did not ship until 10/22/2009 and I am not going to get it until 10/28/2009.

I also didn't receive a shipping notification e-mail, I had to log back into my account to get this.

Just as a comparison, your competitors can deliver a new operating system to me the day the product is released. Microsoft apparently cannot.

It's time you get with the program. I could have purchased this in the store, I pre-ordered it for the convenience, but I guess that was the wrong move.
