Someone changed my Windows Live Password!
Hi, my name is shafique. My email address is shafique658@hotmail.com. I created this address almost a decade ago. I have been using this email on almost all my needs and have my bank, ebay, facebook and every little item subscribed to this email address.
Today, while I was using Windows Live Messenger, I automatically got logged out of it saying "You messenger has been logged in from another location". When I clicked on Reconnect, my messenger signed back in, but there was an unread email in my inbox. That email was from Microsoft Corporation confirming the change of my password. (As i saw the 'Live Today' very shortly, I received an email from Facebook confirming the change of my password and email address.
I tried to change the password via Secret Question and Answer and found that my secret question and answer was changed. It did not allow me to take second attempt at the question and answer when I did receive a Password Reset email (which I could not access off course). I believe who ever changed my password, realised I would have have an attempt at his/her question so they changed the preference on not answering the secret question and answer.
I believe someone specifically targetted my Facebook account and since I had the same password for both Windows Live and Facebook, I ended up losing both my passwords.
Can you please help me on the matter urgently! my current email address is shafique658@live.com.
