Starting this community is a bit like going mad, but I'm doing it for my Mom...
She's an Excel expert, so I'm excited to give her a place to share her knowledge! On the other hand I've just opened a worm hole that will test the Satisfaction model. Bring it on.

Inappropriate?Leslie - its working....I did load Firefox to make posting possible.
Congratulations to all the Get Satisfaction team!
O.K. here is my Excel tip of the day...
Learn as many short cut keys as you can. If you work with Excel all day (as I do), the amount of time saved not going into menu items adds up.
The way I integrate a new short cut is to write it on small yellow Post-its and stick it on the edge of my screen and ...well use the short cut. By the time the note falls off I've usually gotten in the habit of using the key combination.
Here are a couple to start with...
Ctrl + Tab toggles through the workbooks (vs. selecting from menu), add the Shift Key to go backwards
Ctrl + Shift + ~ converts cell(s) to general format.
If you too would like to be an Excel geek, bring on those question! -
Inappropriate? Here's an Excel question....I'm trying to add an amount(75.00) to say, 60 different numbers, each number in an individual cell in an excel sheet. Isn't there a better way of doing it other than manually adding and typing it in?
