There'a a problem with the Office Database
I installed Office 2008 for Mac on my iMac; when I start Word I get a message about a missing database. It's in the right folder but it's not being accessed. I've tried rebuilding it, but that application doesn't seem to work.

Inappropriate?I have been working on this problem for a couple of weeks. I have a new MacBook Pro, and the latest Office for Mac 2008. Back and forth between AppleCare and MSFT support. Both have been courteous and professionial, but now it's become "it's Apple's fault/it's Microsoft's fault". MSFT is claiming my user permissions need some work, and only Apple can handle it. Apple claims that only Microsoft is having this problem, that their apps are calling the wrong information. The bottom line is only MSFT Office is having this problem on my brand new machine.
I’m frustrated
