Why not use Fire Fox
As much as I hate to say it. Whu not use Fire Fox? Not only FF is stable, but many new Web Applications do not run under Internet Explorer. So get FF and relax as you surf the Net!

Inappropriate?many people do not use firefox because tech support only supports internet explorer..... also firefox is a memory hog :? but i still love firefox
-
the latest version of firefox, version 3, fixed a lot of that memory hog problem. -
Inappropriate?what applications, aside from firefox addons, don't run under IE? I'm curious!
-
that's a good question...its often the other way around, IE is supported and not firefox.. i dont know of any apps that are that way.. -
Inappropriate?agreed...... for the most part, isn't the entire web basically coded for IE?
-
its coded badly. IE often does not conform to W3C standards and so hacks and stuff must be used to get it to run right, FF actually uses REAL W3C standards. -
Inappropriate?wait, firefox is a memory hog? Compared to what, notepad? It's leaner than IE, and fewer memory leaks so it doesn't crash every 5 minutes, and doesn't drag your whole computer with it.
yeah, this is me complaining about IE, there's no reason to use that p.o.s., just use firefox!

Inappropriate?I use Firefox myself but I have to disagree vehemently that it's "stable". That's plainly not true. It crashes quite a lot and does so without the ability to recover where you were when it happened. IE in my experience crashes less, but that's partly because I simply use it less.
By itself, it's not much better than IE or Opera, but what makes Firefox stand out are the plugins.
I’m amused at the claim

Inappropriate?I hate IE both as a user and a webmaster. Need to explain why - come on, no jokes, please... I put a link to one of the several "let's get rid of IE" online campaigns at the footer of each one of my web sites. I ask every webmaster who has had the "pleasure" to make a site compatible with IE to join this practice.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I use to love FF until 3.0 came out. I had some many problems with the browser that I finally tried to uninstall it and I couldn't do it. Due to a few other issues that came later, I finally did a complete system restore and even though I don't care for IE, I don't want to face the same problems with FF 3.0 again. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't there a lot of bug's in 3.0?
