i am using windows xp sp2 with ie7, and some websites won't load right. i tried reinstalling and updating flash, shockwave, silverlight, windows xp sp2 (the service pack), ie6/ ie7, directx, windows media player 10; i even use firefox and opera, but i keep on getting the same results:
- i cannot download the photosynth application from photosynth.net; and the website looks like this - some images cannot load
- tv.com looks like this:
- weather.com looks like this:
- and i cannot view streaming videos like this: http://mschnlnine.vo.llnwd.net/d1/ch9...
i do think that these are all related. can anyone help me?

Inappropriate? If you install and run the Fiddler program (available for free at http://www.fiddlertool.com), it will show you the success or failure of the download for each component of the web pages you visit. From the screenshots, it looks like some parts of each web page aren't being downloaded successfully. Please use Fiddler and let us know what errors it reports.

Inappropriate?A 502 error code is "bad gateway" which means the problem is most likely with some machine between you and the web server you are talking to. If you have a router or other network device, reset it. If that doesn't work, then contact your ISP and get them to track this down.
