Cha-Ching Touch Crashes Often
When I press the "Recent Transactions" on any account, the app would crash. The same happens every time I go into the "History" section and selecting a month.
I tried to see if I could create a new account, enter a Transactions, and then get into that account history and Recent Transactions. This worked fine. I could see all the transactions that I entered in this new account on CCT without crashing.
I realized that it could be a syncing problem, so I synced with the CC 2.0 B99. As I thought, there were problems when syncing. Any new transactions created on CCT (on an existing account or the new account I created to test this) would appear wrong, it would appear without any Subject, Date, Tags, or any info, other than the amount. If I double clicked the transaction on the desktop version of CC, it would automatically add the date, subject, etc.
Then I tried to sync back to CCT and see if the new account's history (the one created to check this) would still be accessible. Sure enough, once synced back, the account would be as unaccesible as the other ones.
I tried several troubleshooting steps and this were the results:
Used the restore option when syncing so the data on the iphone was replaced: When the syncing with restore option was finished, the info on CC about my iphone showed no transactions, payees, or accounts.I tried this procedure again, the reslult was the same. Then if I opened CCT, sure enough, it was empty, no account, no payees, nothing. I tried to enter a new account from the CCT interface, and after I pressed the OK button after entering all the details, the app would return to the main CCT screen without any account added.
I deleted the app from my iphone and reinstalled from Itunes, still the same. Then I even deleted the app from Itunes and redownloaded it from the store. None of this solved my problem...
Please help me. I really love this app and have been using CC almost since it launched, but this bugs made CCT unusable. It is odd that the CC "beta" works great and CCT (which is a comercial release) doesn't work at all.

Inappropriate?We are actively working on this issue. We think we have fixed what causes this crash and have a new build going out to testers today.
We have added 5 additional testers (all users who experience some type of regular crashing) to make sure we get this solved.

Inappropriate?I just bought CCT yesterday and it still crashes. I think i have both latest versiones of CCT and CC desktop.

Inappropriate?Cha-Ching on the iPhone randomly crashes when creating new transactions. I could notice these crashes in three different situations:
1. Clicking on "Notes" to add a note to the transaction
2. Saving the note
3. Saving the transaction without adding a note at all
It is difficult to reproduce the crash. Mostly the app crashes 4-5 times but works as expected on the 6th try. I couldn't find any pattern to intentionally produce a crash of the application.
I would really like to see this bug fixed.

I also experienced the notes-related crashes. I just never add notes while creating a new transaction... just after the transaction is created (need to go back to list and enter the Edit mode) -

Inappropriate?Still crashes often when trying to create a new transaction. The only fix is reboot the phone. I was emailed about testing the latest build but after replying I haven't received anymore information. This crashing is getting really old.

Inappropriate?Cha-Ching is not a simple application and sometimes things take longer than we would otherwise hope.
The update is now being tested and hopefully will be ready for general public soon :)

Inappropriate?It is a memory issue that has been resolved with recent test builds. We are finalizing Cha-Ching Touch 1.6 which will be submitted soon. (days not weeks)

Inappropriate?30 days now... but giving you the benefit of the doubt after your last post we're sitting at 7 DAYS... which, according to my calculations, is half way to being able to say "WEEKS"
and... my application that i paid for is still crashing on an almost daily basis.

Inappropriate?You have to remember, Apple's approval process is a joke. Lets say Midnight Apps submitted the app to Apple 6 days ago -- We still have a week or 2 until Apple approves or denies it for some benign reason.

The application was submitted 4 days ago. We are at Apple's mercy now. They are usually pretty quick about updates so hopefully it will be available soon but you never know. -

Inappropriate?I've got the latest Cha-Ching 2 beta (2b104 build 418), and after I sync to Cha-Ching Touch (1.6), I can't see details or edit transactions that were created on the computer...
If the transaction was created on the iPhone, I've got no problem, but I can't go to a computer-created transaction without the app crashing.

Oh, and the installation on the iPhone was fresh.. I had erased it and copied it back so I could sync on a new database, but to no avail.

I am looking into this issue. I am not yet sure what might cause this. How are you trying to see the details of the transaction on your iPhone? Are you attempting to view via the account history?

If I navigate to Recent transactions or History, I can see all my transactions there (I could not with the previous Cha-Ching touch). If I click on one of them, the app crashes.
If I create a new transaction on the iPhone, I can open it in Recent transactions and if I slide to the previous one, it looks like it's about to open it (the data seems correct) but it never finishes the "slide" and crashes. -

I got almost the same problem.
I've got the latest Cha-Ching 2 beta on my macbook, and Cha-Ching Touch (1.6), and the problem is that I can't see details or edit ANY transactions on my iPhone without having the app crashing!
Please help! I don't want to use Balance or any other applications, I want my Cha-Ching back :(

Inappropriate?Call me crazy, but when I have Microsoft Excel open with Cha-Ching I experience it crashing without fail. This is on a 13" MacBook running 10.5.8
