Payees are not automatically created
using the new feature in the payees screen that allows a user to create a new payee by typing in the search bar does not work while creating a new transaction. It appears to work as designed when entering through the Payees section though.

Inappropriate?this definitely works...
How are you creating the payee? Are you tapping on "create..." after typing the payee in the search field? -
I think th eproblem is that many people intuitively press the blue 'Done' button rather than the less compelling "create" line. Remove the 'Done' button or replase it with a "Create" button? -

Inappropriate? Here's what I do to make this bug occur:
1. From Account Info screen, hit "New Transaction" icon in upper right corner
2. In search bar, I type the new payee's name and hit "Done" in the upper right corner
3. CCT takes me back to the "Assign a payee" screen and no payee has been created.
Note: I just noticed that I can hit the new payee's name at the top of the listbox rather than "Done" and it works as designed. The "Done" button should perform the creation instead.
I’m OK with the workaround

Inappropriate? The "done" button has nothing to do with creating a payee... it is the "done" button for finishing/clearing a search. We are changing this button to say "cancel" for the next version.
You should always create new payees by tapping "create..." from the list. -
Inappropriate?yeah, i get that now. it isn't very clear to the average user. Changing to "Cancel" would help. It might still be unclear to users that they need to hit the top entry in the listbox to actually perform the creating task. Typically, users click a listbox to choose an entry. They click a button to perform a task such as this. That's the confusing part. Just my 0.02.
I’m appreciative for the quick response
