Transactions seem to be posting as incoming instead of outgoing

Earlier tonight I added an outgoing $40.00 transaction using the iPhone app. When I returned home, I synced with Cha-Ching on my MacBook. After the sync, I noticed my account balance had increased by $40.00 even though the the transaction had been added as an expense. I thought maybe I had mistakenly added it as an incoming transaction, but I had indeed added it as an expense.
I've tried deleting the transaction, and adding it again, but it always posts as an incoming instead of outgoing. As a test, I tried adding some other outgoing transactions, but every one of them increases instead of decreasing my balance. This happens regardless of where the transaction is added (iPhone or MacBook).
I've also tried reverting to a backup database of Cha-Ching along with removing then re-installing the iPhone app. No luck with either; both continue to have the issue of adding when they should be subtracting.
I'm using 2.0b99 on my MacBook; 1.5 on my iPhone. This is a major show stopper for me. Any ideas?

Inappropriate?What type of account is this? Are you sure the account doesn't have a negative balance?
What happens when you add in incoming transaction? Does your balance go up or down?
Lastly is the balance bar displaying as green or red? (Balance bar at the bottom of both the touch app and the desktop app)
