Advanced Search Features

By default, the Search form is set to 'any word' and 'sort by relevence'.

monkey robot

This search will return links containing either "robot" or "monkey". Links containing both words wil list before links only containing one of the words. Word order is not factored into the results.

There are two other options available. Search 'sort by date' and search 'phrase'.

Sorting by date will display the most current links at the top, regardless of relevance. To sort by date, simply choose the sort by date option and resubmit your query.

Searching by 'phrase' rejects links which do not contain the exact phrase.

"monkey robot"

This search -- note the quotes -- will not return a link with the description or title containing "your monkey is a robot". Even though both words appear in the link, it does not match the exact phase "monkey robot". Also note that this is not a substring search, so it will not match against "monkey robots".

You can use a combination of phrase and word searching.

"this phrase" word
"this phrase" "another phrase"
