Are there any weird characters in your Windows Username??? We've only seen this problem when someone's username had the "U" with two dots over it. If that's not the issue, please send us the log file from this path to support:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\AppDataLow\Minggl\minggl.db</username>

Connecting now. No strange charaters and no proxy server or VPN. Seams to be fine. Having trouble loading my MySpace, Facebook & LinkedIn contacts.
