"Always rename" and "Always categorize" don't work. Last reply on November 15, 2007 23:11.
Every time a repeat transaction shows up on Mint, it shows with it's original name, even though I went through the first time and renamed things with the "Always rename" box checked. Wal-Mart always shows as "Wal" and I have to go in and rename it to "Wal-Mart" and recategorize it as shopping, even though I have done this four times now with the "always rename" and "always categorize" boxes checked. These checkboxes are a good idea, but they don't work; please fix them. -

In categories, where can I find transportation that isn't automobile related. Translink, zip car, bicycle for everyday transportation. When I buy a non-sporty fender for my bike so I can ride to work in the rain, even though it's a really small expense, I want to classify it as a transportation expense, not sports. Forgive me if I'm not seeing this. Maybe there is a way I can customize these categories to show the ones that are most relevant to my lifestyle? Last reply on October 15, 2007 23:51.
