Mint for Small Business?
I'm a small business owner that currently uses Quicken to manage my business finances. The problem is, I'm a Mac user and Quicken hasn't truly been updated on the Mac platform in the last decade and so I'm stuck using the Windows version through virtualization to do my accounting.
As I've recently discovered, Mint.com is a *wonderful* solution for personal finances but without the ability to simply rename / define categories I can't seem to use this for business. Terms like "shopping" would need to be redefined as "supplies" and there's no way to define anything like wages (even though I'm the only one that would be receiving them).
Is there a version of Mint for small business? And if not, is there any easy way I can better customize my Mint experience to meet my needs? Remember, I'm already using Quicken so I don't need the level of accounting that Quickbooks provides. I just need a simple way to edit and create categories.

Hi Joey,
Good news. Custom categories are currently being tested and are close to being released. You should be able to add whatever additional categories you need under the 'Business' parent and organize your spending that way. We also have a more powerful tagging solution being released alongside, so you can have even more fine grain control.
Thanks for using Mint!

Inappropriate?Excellent, thanks. I really do love Mint so I'd like to be able to use it for my business as well. Since the existence of custom categories was the only thing really holding me back (though I'd love to be able to import my existing Quicken data), it looks like I'll be hanging in there.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Oh and by the way, I'm a web / interface designer and I have to say that Mint is one of the most visually stunning web apps I've ever used. Great job.

Inappropriate?Any chance of business reports and receivables being integrated into Mint? This would be the Quickbooks killer if it had business reporting...even basic reporting like a balance sheet, P/L statements, etc.
