Timed Authentication Process And Challenge Questions Issues

It's extremely difficult to log in to Sallie Mae, Great Lakes, or likely other institution with a "timed authentication process" model. Can you offer any advice on how to get this to work. I've been stuck all day trying to get these to add properly. It's apparent to me from researching forums that it is possible to use Mint with these institutions, and that many users have had success, but there just isn't enough information out there to get it to work for me.
