View Scanned Images of Checks
Most banks scan cashed checks. There ought to be a way to view those images in Mint, preferably from within transaction view. Worst case scenario, there should be a link to view the check image on the bank's site.
Check numbers do very little. Without knowing who the check was made out to and what the memo wrote, it's almost worthless.
