Wells Fargo Duplicate CC Accounts
Since early January I've been seeing a duplicate of my Wells Fargo credit card account. It started off as an exact duplicate but it has since stopped updating.
I've submitted a support request through the mint site on the 9th, and haven't heard back (its now the 20th) I did receive a very generic "thanks for reporting a bug" email. However that doesn't address my problem at all. I want to know that someone is working on it, and when approximately I can expect it to be fixed.
I've tried posting to the forums, but I haven't heard anything their either. Maybe some one will respond to get satisfaction. The lack of a response is what is really putting me off mint. Before this issue I had been recommending Mint to friends and family. Now I would discourage people from signing up.

Inappropriate?Hi Radfahrer, We're aware of this issue for some Wells Fargo credit card users. I responded to your forum post yesterday. We're working on it. We apologize for the frustration this is causing and we're working to fix it. Thanks for your feedback.

Still no ETA on a fix, is this a week out, a month out, a year out? I assumed that you weren't completely ignoring the dozens of users reporting this issue on the forums. Do you know what's causing the issue? Did WF change the way they report data to you? It seems like it likely happened near new years, is there a date based issue? -
Inappropriate? The problem is with our data provider. We have seen similar events in the past with other financial institutions. Such events do not impact all users of that financial institution. It is being addressed and worked on. I can't give any exact estimated time to resolution but suspect it will be several days.

Ok its been over a week. I would say that "several days" have come and gone. Are we any closer to a solution? -
Inappropriate?Update: It's now the 22nd, so 11 days after my original submission of this issue through the "contact us" form on Mint.com. I have now received a second more specific canned response. Telling me in essence, that its my fault, and that I must have mistakenly add the account twice, or changed the account through Wells Fargo sufficiently for it to appear as a new account to mint.
I did neither. I had been logging into mint more often than WF and only using WF's site If I had to pay a bill or something like that. And as for adding it to mint twice, I think I would have noticed that.
In either case why can't mint compare the account numbers and see that its the same account?
This second response was no more useful than the first and it was offensive on top of being unhelpful. So far customer support is not winning Mint a loyal user from its iterations with me.
I’m offended

Inappropriate?Hi Radfahrer,
We are working on your and other Wells Fargo Credit Card users who have the similar issue. Our engineers are working on the issue. The fact that you received that second message from customer service is a quality problem and, well, is my problem. My apologies for that. I can assure you the duplicate account issue is being addressed. -
Thanks for your timely response. I wish I had come strait to GS in the first place. Mint support works soo much better here. -
Inappropriate?Looks like its finally fixed with the latest updates to mint.com. Now I can go back to enjoying the awesomeness that is a functional mint account. Thanks guys!
I’m thankful
