What about an Item swap/trading option between pets (personally owned &/or posse). Of course to prevent unfair trading we could have a "trader’s fee" along with a stipulation of equal value or even a trade limit.

Inappropriate?I AGREE, but there are too few items to start trading......
If there were a huge variety with many exclusive items that rarely show up then yes trading would be wonderful!!
Right now there aren't that many to trade and for me it is simpler to just buy and sell
TRADING IS GREAT ONCE THERE IS A DIVERSE AMOUNT OF SHOP ITEMS AND EXCLUSIVE ITEMS!!!
