How do I make my photo wrap around the cover
Hi! I'm creating a book and want to be sure the cover photo wraps around the spine. In the creator, the spine has a white background, and there doesn't seem to be an option to specify to wrap the cover photo. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Charlie,
You should be able to edit your spine and add a background and text, but please keep in mind that your spine will only have text for hard cover books, as we cannot print on spines for soft covers since they are so thin. All of our books have full photo wrap covers. -

I'm posting this again as a comment directly to your reply, just because I don't know how this getsatisfaction.com system works, so I don't know if you'll see my message below that I posted 24 hours ago. I really need a clarification to this issue so I can go ahead and get my book finished and ordered. Thanks a bunch! Here's my message from earlier...
Thanks for the reply to my question! I'm still not sure about the photo wrap cover, though. When I'm working on my book in the editor, I see the photo on the front cover and the (different) photo on the rear cover. But on the spine, I only see text and the option to add a "Background" (either a solid color, or one of the background images in your library) - but NOT a photo. And the photo I have on the front cover DOES NOT appear behind the text on the spine of the book in the editor, even if I stretch it's border past the spine. So, how do I make the cover photo wrap around the spine behind my spine text (for a hard cover book, not soft cover, per your response above)??? I have a photo of a waterfall on my cover, and I'd like it to wrap around the spine (a "full photo wrap cover"). Right now, the best I can do is have my front cover photo, my rear cover photo, and then a spine that is a completely different color (like black, or white) or background (from your library, not my photos).
I really appreciate you taking the time to clear this up for me! Thanks in advance!

Inappropriate?Charlie,
You can email us at support@mixbook.com as well, in terms of your question, the cover does wrap around entirely, but we cannot select a photo to go on the spine at this time. You can try to upload your photo as a background, and then select the photo as a background when you have the spine selected, but there is not way to place the photo there at this time. But we would definitely like this type of feature, thanks for the feedback and idea!

Thanks Alison,
I think I must have been confused about what you define a "full photo wrap cover" to be. I was assuming that this meant the photo from the cover could wrap around the spine, but obviously this is not the case. Thanks for clarifying it for me, and yes - I think that would be a great feature for your company to add in the future! I will go ahead and print my book, as this is my first one with mixbook.com, and see for myself what your quality is like. At this point, though, I have to admit that I'm leaning back to one of your competitors who offers the wrap around cover sleeves (not printed directly on the cover) since I can wrap a photo completely around the spine with them (which is much more elegant and professional looking, IMO). Thanks for taking the time to clear this up for me!
