Removing Photo from Template Frame
How can I remove a photo from a frame without removing the entire frame? The only way I have found is to delete the entire thing, frame and photo. This is bad because when I go and try to get the template back, the photo comes back with it. I'm clearly doing something wrong.

Inappropriate?Karen,
Do you want an empty photo frame for some reason? Or do you want to replace it with another photo? It's easy to drag and drop another photo right on top of the current photo and it will be replaced.
As for the new template being filled with the old photos, we'll look into that and see if there is an issue there. Let me know if you need more help by emailing me at support@mixbook.com -
Inappropriate?I have the same question, I want to delete a bunch of pics without deleting the frames and then replace them later. I copied an album I have and want to replace some photos not all. Just replacing the pictures won't help me...
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I just found a way of getting what i need, create a blank photo and replace the photos you want to delete with the blank photo, it serves as a place holder for new pics, then replace again once you have new pics

Inappropriate? Thanks AR! We appreciate any feedback that you give us! Is an empty photo slot useful to you? What do you use it for? We'd love to hear what you have to say - we want to know how we can improve the Mixbook Editor for you!

Inappropriate? An empty photo slot is useful when trying to make similar albums for family members, you can keep most of the layout and then copy the book, leaving empty photo slots guarantees that you know you need to replace that photo, leaving an old photo can end up getting confusing. Also, you can't delete photos being used so you have to keep the old photos in until you replace them all. Keeping an empty frame after deleting just the photo creates a marker so you can go delete all the old pictures, insert all new ones without overloading yourself... thanks! Makes it much faster, I used a blank picture as a marker but being able to delete the picture but keep the frame would be even better!

Inappropriate?AR, if you'd like to have an empty "photo slot", you can use our shapes tool as a placeholder. You can size the square slot any way you'd like, and drop photos into the shape - it can act the same way that a empty photo slot would. You can also drag the shape over a photo, and it will also auto-fit the photo into that shape as well.
Hope that helps!
