Loaded Stem Names more Viewable
I'm having a problem with keeping track of my loaded stems in the Mixmaker window. Some file names are so long that they do not show the full name in the loaded stem column. I name my stems in a categorical way to keep track of stem relationships of my own. Unfortunately the long file names don't help out much if I can't see the end of them in my Mixer^_^
I recommend allowing the instrument stem column to be re-sized to reveal the entire stem name and/or to allow users to view the entire sample/stem name when mousing over it in the MixMaker. Another option would be to allow users to give "temp" names to files they load in their mixer if they wish to remember what they are easier....and to likewise, still view the original stem name if changed.

Inappropriate? These are interesting ideas - both resizing the column on the left that contains track information, and adding a temporary track name that is different than the audio name itself.
While I see and understand your particular naming convention, on our site all the metadata like tempo, instruments, and genres are stored separately from the name of the audio. If you take advantage of our wiki-style system of classifying audio, and shorten the names instead, you may find the information more legible.
I’m appreciative

Inappropriate? What you say is perfectly understandable. The main purpose for my naming convention, however, is to allow me to know what files I upload are all related to each other. I'm currently breaking down a lot of my music into stems and then uploading them in order to reconstruct them in the mixer.
Currently I have no way of attributing files I upload to each other "prior" to loading them in the MixMaker and publishing. If I have 80 stems that I created all from one song, it would be nice to be able to show they are all related somehow without having to fill in all the metadata first. ...sometimes a person just doesn't have time to sit down and fill out metadata for 80+ stems they're uploading. ...and, although I could show their relation by giving them all a similar name, it still doesn't tell me exactly what it is until after I've entered all the metadata.
Finally, my other reason for the naming convention is to also try to help out those downloading my audio by providing them file names in a format that will be useful to them when they can no longer rely on metadata for sorting their samples. (i.e. on their own personal computer/sample library)
I’m thankful
