No custom fun with CloudMade API key?
I am currently trying to build out my map using CloudMade as my map provider, their tiles are so dreamy. However, when I insert my API key issued from CloudMade I only get standard CloudMade tiles without my XML parsed markers and applied color matrix. It works when I use the stock standard API key with the HelloBubbles example, but not with my own.
I've tried:
testing locally (this gets me X tiles and markers);
testing on my server (this gets me standard CM tiles, but no markers).
Also, I scoured the docs over at CloudMade to no avail. Any hints? I don't want to jack the fine folks at MM's API key!

Inappropriate?Hi Adam,
This is definitely a question for the CloudMade guys - as far as I know the styles are available for everyone and shouldn't be limited to our key. I'll ask them myself and follow up here if they respond, but if you could also submit your question to http://developers.cloudmade.com/proje... that might help. -
Inappropriate?By the way, it's weird that you say your markers don't show up when you use your own key. That really shouldn't happen, since the image loading process should be totally isolated from whether or not your markers get added. Are you sure there isn't an error in the key that's causing flash to skip some code?
...edit: sorry to be short, I don't mean to imply it's anything you've done wrong - just wondering why that might happen!
I’m unsure

Inappropriate?Hmmm. Yeah. I basically just copied the key from my account and pasted it into the code. THEN! I copied it into a plain txt file, then copied it into my code... and... now it works!
File this under: "D'oh!" or "Dumbass"

Inappropriate?Hi Adam,
Have you opened a ticket with our help desk (I'm with cloudmade)... You can do so by mailing support@cloudmade.com.....
Jim Brown (CTO Cloudmade) -
I was able to figure it out, but I gave your peeps at the help desk a head's up just in case other boneheads like myself encounter the same problem. Thanks for following up! I really dig your service!
