Nope, nothing so formal. As far as I know nobody is actively working on it, sadly.

I ported the core data types to Objective C and Cocoa but it was my first Objective C code, I've not properly tested it, and nobody else has reviewed it. It is definitely not production ready, and it's never been near an iphone :)

I'll try to find out more from the other people who were talking about it.
