vertical and horizontal lines on pan
When panning I've noticed that small vertical and horizontal lines appear in the map. If I pan again these images sometimes disappear and then reappear. I saw an earlier post about a similar issue with flex. I'm using a version of modestmaps that I downloaded in Oct. I believe so it should be a more recent version than mentioned in that post. Any ideas about how to keep these lines from appearing in the maps?

Inappropriate?I think there's been some confusion between me (doing the majority of the major upgrades) and Mike (doing the packaging) that means that the download version doesn't contain all the new stuff that it should.
If you're comfortable using subversion I can strongly recommend checking out the development version (in subversion 'trunk') because I'm pretty sure it fixes all these issues.
If not, keep an eye out here or in the modestmaps.com RSS feed and we'll post an update soon, hopefully before the end of the year. -
Inappropriate?It took a while but I ported everything to the version in subversion trunk. That took care of the problem. The new version is great. You guys have done a great job with this. Thanks.

Inappropriate?There were only a couple things that slowed this down. I had to rebuild two map providers for data from globalmapper that were based on the old virtual earth map provider. I believe I ran into an issue with the change to marker_roll_over, roll_out, and click within markerevent.as as some of my code was looking for roll_over. Other than things went pretty smooth.
