Zoom interface
I'm thinking about implementing a zoom interface that shows the current zoom-level , the current map scale, and the total number of zoom-levels for the current map provider.
If anyone has implemented something similar it would be great if you had some input. If anyone else has ideas please share. I'll be happy to share the code with you afterwards.

I just took a basic approach and will improve it later. I made a zoom-levellabel in one of my UI-boxes and added a mapevent listener (listen to zoomevents from the map object). Nothing fancy at all. I will probably come up with better solution later on. A Flex-component bundled with modestmaps would be great. I ́ll be happy to assist if anyone has time to start the development.
