Very sorry about the issues, your feelings are certainly understandable. Because of the nature of Outpost/Basecamp, we were unable to test every situation possible and, though we tested some accounts with very large project counts, we failed to properly test single projects with large message counts. We have a patch for this in the works and will submit over the next day or so. Sorry, there are no refunds.

Inappropriate?Tom, I was not trying to be funny. As mentioned in my reply, it was impossible to test every possible scenario, as Basecamp is an external service which people use in different ways. I'm am truly sorry that you feel the need to resort to facetious, passive aggressive threats, but alas, I understand you're frustrated. Also as mentioned, we have a fix in the works and are submitting as soon as we can. I know many other apps which have gone weeks or even months before attempting to fix their initial releases.
And by the by, if you do find a way to start class action suits against apps which crash in their first release, please count me in -- we'll could be rich.

Inappropriate?David, yes it's a joke, sort of --- but of course you're aware that charging people money for something that doesn't work as promised of course leaves customers with recourse beyond, "Sorry no refunds." Once you charge people money you have a responsibility to deliver a product that works as advertised, or refund their money.
Courts are full of such disputes all over the world, all the time, and rarely does the "many other products don't work either" defense go very far.
I'm not looking for a refund, but I'd love a product that works. If you can't provide one, then certainly refunds are in order.
BTW -- I'd imagine a significant percentage of Basecamp users have projects with over 100 messages, 1000 comments, several hundred files, etc. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't know when I say Outpost's ability to handle industrial strength Basecamp accounts is the true test of whether it works (and performs well) or not.

Inappropriate?I agree with you Tom. The demo on the web site looks promising. However, I haven't been able to use the app on my iPhone because of the apps limitations. I'm rooting for the developers at Morfunk to find a fix soon.

Inappropriate?Just to add to the list of people who have large number of projects (22) and messages (lots). I have not been able to use the app as it crashes on every load.
I look forward to a quick fix to the problem. -
Inappropriate?I have over 74 very large projects - please get this fixed ASAP; you really should have tested large project folders before launching :( - I would certainly have been willing to participate.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem - other than the initial sync I've not been able to run the app at all. I only have 13 projects in this account but they are all pretty big.

Inappropriate?I want to add my 2 cents. I bought version 1.0 - Didn't work. I downloaded 1.01. Didn't work. I tried 1.02 - improvements, yes. But no sync on my 20+ projects. If someone at the company is listing and wants me to send logs or something, please contact me. I'd love to get this working well.

Inappropriate?We have similar issues with this product. It has a great looking interface and we would love it to work, but we operate about 35 projects in Basecamp and it takes WAY too long to sync the related data. We have found that other apps that simply pull the live data from the site are more productive than trying to sync every detail to the phone (which seems impossible due to the time this app has been out and it still does not work).
