Outpost is still crashing after the 1.0.1 update
I just updated to 1.0.1 and it definitely helped. Before I couldn't even sync my projects. Not they're all synced but when I can only browse them for 10 - 20 seconds before the Outpost crashes.
It seems like if I open just about anything the app crashes within a few seconds. I'm glad I finally got to play a little. The UI looks phenomenal so I'm looking forward to having this work.

Inappropriate?I got mine to update as well and finally synced with all my projects. but I can't browse any of the projects or tabs. It crashes when I select anything.
This is really frustrating, because I couldn't even get mine to work with version 1.0. Now that I have the update finally I still can't use it.
If I can help in anyway with some bug testing or updates please let me know so we can get something that works for everyone.
I’m frustratPr

Inappropriate? Thanks for the offer of help— so far we've worked with everyone who's provided us information on the 1.0 release to solve their issues in the 1.0.1 release. There are two things you can do to help us diagnose and solve issues in 1.0.1:
Firstly you can provide crash reports, as detailed in this support document.
If there are no crash logs showing up, this probably indicates a memory issue (this was at the root of most 1.0 issues). In this case, the only way we can diagnose the problem is by getting access to a Basecamp account which causes Outpost to fail. -
Inappropriate? One additional thing: If you would like to help us test the fixes for these issues, please drop us an email to dev at morfunk dot com with your 40-digit iPhone ID. You can find this by connecting your iPhone (or iPod touch) to iTunes and selecting the device. On the Summary pane, click on the 'serial number' field and it will change to show the 40-digit device ID. Copy that (just press Command-C on the Mac, I'd assume Ctrl-C would do the same on WIndows) and put that in an email.
With that information, we can add you to our bugfix test group and send you a custom build to try out the prospective v1.0.2. -
Inappropriate?Hi Jim,
Thanks for the post. I'll follow up with an email in a little bit. I would love to help with bugtesting.
Thanks again. -
Inappropriate?OK, so after the update i can get past the first screen, but after 3rd or 4th action it crashes. The to-do lists do not show their correct items (they show the content that belongs to the to-do list above it on the list), dashboard display is buggy (doesnt show project names consistently, causing it to crash almost everytime). And syncing is excruciating. 20 minutes to sync 2 of the 20 projects on my account using a very robust wireless connection, just to see one fresh comment in each. Is it re-downloading the entire project each time i sync? Also it's not possible to work on projects that are being synced because all the data will not show up.
I know of no one who can get this app working anywhere near an acceptable level in a professional organization. It should be removed from the app store until it works with real-world Basecamp accounts. I had to send out an email to all my client contacts telling them not to purchase it. For some it was too late, and they are annoyed.
I’m pissed

Inappropriate?Has anyone actually got this app working? If so how?
When will we have a fully functioning version thats been testing on real world base camp setups. It seems everyone has ben so excited about this app only to pay a high price to be let down. Whats the story?
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?I think it works if you use Basecamp to manage your grocery list, but I dont know anyone who uses Basecamp for their business that can get this app to work.
Not only does it crash repeatedly, the sync functionality is unbelievably terrible. The app doesnt display data in real time. If you add a single comment via the app, you have to sync the entire project to see it appear on the dashboard. If your projects are large, it takes 5 or 10 MINUTES! LOL.
I've been using Groundwork, which has less functionality, but I can do the basics.
Seriously annoyed these guys took $13 from me.
