Change sort order for folder

This really isn't an acceptable sort method. Have you tried to manually sort a folder with 50+ videos in it? It's a royal pain in the behind! This functionality should be expanded to permit quick sorting as well as manual sorting. Add a few buttons in there or a drop-down to allow you to sort by the same options that you can sort by in the 'sort by' menu at the bottom of the page.

One suggestion that seems to be easy and gives an interim solution: If the sorting window could be resizable (many of us have large screens with good resolution these days) then more videos could fit and sorting would be somewhat easier.

Actually, just to be able to REVERSE the order so the newest uploads are FIRST (not last) would be REALLY helpful. It's annoying to have to scroll through screen after screen after screen after screen to find the video I JUST uploaded.

I just found motionbox and initially was very excited but I'm uploading about 150 short (football) clips at a time and it seems to be impossible to easily sort them with something as simple as alphabetical. I definitely need to be able to easily get them alphabetically into the mixer and preferably in the folder as well. I also find the reorder ajaxy thing clunky as it is a fixed size and doesn't even show the complete name of my files. Alpha at best.

Well thanks for the reply in any case. Frankly the concept of MotionBox is fantastic but the implementation leaves a lot to be desired. I tried every trick I could think of to aid in sorting. Turns out your alphabetic sort order does not sort by the same rules that PC folders do. I.E a file name such as "1_Filename" comes after "10_Filename" on MotionBox and before (as I think it should on my PC) So then I put together a routine to rename my clips on my pc before uploading. ie. "1_FileName" becomes "001_Filename". However when they get uploaded they get all randomized in the folder and of course when 'sort by' a-z it only sorts that page so I figured I'd break them up into 48 file folders. However it was all for naught as it turns out even when you sort them then 'add to' mixer they don't go to the mixer sorted but back to the original order they uploaded to the folder. This at most is a couple SQL statement change to the database. Please put in a capability in the Mixer to sort!! Please let me know when this is fixed. Its back to youTube in the meantime.
