No Video Game Captures???
I run and have been running a video game wrestling league for over 6 months now and I use the video agmes to film original shows and now I got an email from here saying the content is not allowed?
Why? It is an original web show that I am sharing with a group of people and it is original, just using the video game to film the content.
We pay for the service with motionbox and are not harming anyone with our videos. There is no copyright infringment as we are not making money off of what we are doing, we are using a video game to make original shows for entertainment purposes only. I feel that this should be allowed as there is no harm and no one else complaining about what we are doing. We pay for the service.

Inappropriate?How would be any gameplay footage copyrighted? That's a rather ridiculous proposal no matter what snake oil those highly incompetent, stupid studio execs trying sell you as 'the law' - your modus operandi here should be CYA, Motionbox, not cover studios' game for more control, you know.
There's no way any judge would give Motionbox the nod if he takes you to his local small court for suspending his service, I'm telling you...

This is NONSENSE. It's YOU who has to contact HIM FIRST in case there's any question about the copyrights of his content, BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING including disrupting his service, NOT VICA VERSA.
It is very disturbing that you have ACTED FIRST and think later - even Youtube notifies you first (unless it is about posting an entire episode of a TV show or similar clear-cut case.)

This users content was not removed until after he chose not to continue with his Motionbox account. He was warned several days back about the content and offered a Pro membership since his content doesn't fall within the guidelines of a Premium membership.
He was also informed about notifying us as to his rights of the content as per our terms of service agreement. However, he chose not to do this at this time.
