Why is uploading so slow?
Why are uploads so slow right now? My ISP is not the problem. Uploads to other sites are fine. To upload a 432 MB file has taken three days and only 3/4 of it has been uploaded! This size of file formerly used to take about 4-8 hours.
Are there queuing issues? July 2009. I'm a premium member too.

Hi Phil,
Currently there is an issue with the MXU appearing to stall. Your upload may very well be on its way but you'll need to restrat the MXU to move it along. Also, moving the video directly to your desktop may work better for now when uploading - instead of uploading from your camera or an external device.
The engineering team is trying to resolve the MXU issues currently and hope to have a new release within a week.

Any updates on this? I am currently having similar problems. My upload is only averaging about 10KBs even though I'm on a high-speed line (speedtest.net is reporting upload speeds of 5Mbps for random servers around the U.S.).
I've been struggling with uploads for several days now. I did try copying the files over to the desktop, and that has not mad e a difference.

We're really sorry for the frustrations with uploading - the issue is sporadic but some users are hitting it very often.
You'll need to restart the MXU or pause/resume it to move the video upload along. Also, moving the video directly to your desktop may work better for now when uploading - instead of uploading from your camera or an external device.
The engineering team has made this a top priority and we do appreciate your patience. We did have one build a week or more ago but there is a second part to the build which is being worked on currently.

Whatever you guys did this morning during the brief offline period for maintenance seems to have worked. My uploads went through fine after Motionbox came back online. I'm hoping this was a permanent fix and not a temporary effect of simply "rebooting" your system.s
For your info, I had already done all of your recommendations (i.e., pause/resume and moving the video to the desktop). Neither made a difference (and practically speaking I can't sit there all day long hitting pause and resume every so often). -
