Is it possible to manage W270 with my PC using Mobile Phone Tools?

1. When I bought W270 the store attendant told me that I can use MPT for the said mobile phone. (He also said that the mobile phone cannot be use for Internet, which is incorrect because it comes with GPRS feature)
2. I installed MPT and have have it updated, but it cannot detect my W270.
3. I tried asking Motorola Support, the Indonesian support cannot seem to answer in a coherent English, but they said 'MPT is not available to be used with W270'. And North American support tells me to contact the nearest country.

Since the store and support didn't agree on one thing, which is true? Can I use MPT with W270 or not?
