Inappropriate?Charles, what's going on with the phone now? Generally as a last resort you can "un-freeze" a phone by pulling the battery and putting it back in.
If you can tell me your cellular service provider, I can find out if there's a software update that might help. Since your phone is only six months old it's in warranty, so you can update your software from home. If that doesn't work, you can get an in-warranty repair.

Inappropriate?I have the software for doing all the backups and everything until i updated the software there was a keypad like the phone i could control all the functions from my computer after going thru several screens it would start working then i did something stupid i let the software update now it does not even access the phone to back it up.

Inappropriate?OK, so it sounds like you might have had a problem with Motorola Phone Tools. Do you know if you were updating your MPT from an early version, like maybe version 4? That can be tricky, so let me know if that was the case. We can fix that.

Inappropriate?the phone crashed i tried to revive it with phone tools but the crashes got successively worse now overpriced paper weight and i cant get an rma from coustmer service their system is being up graded for four days now????? that is so much bs

Inappropriate?Are you saying that Motorola has been unable to begin warranty service for you? We do not have any system issues that I'm aware of and I asked some other people, too.
